Each stage of the 2018 Rhodes Dryland Traverse is unique. Trail runners get to encounter a diversity of scenes from the natural splendour of the Cango Caves, majestic summit of the Swartberg Mountain, breathtaking views of the Raubenheimer Dam, to the isolated beauty of De Hoek. Prologue: Runners were in for an unforgettable experience underground with this magical, dark, and mysterious adventure.
The first part of the prologue route was changed for the first time since its inception and kicked things off with an exciting climb this year. Next up was the world-famous Cango Caves, where few adventure-seekers have been allowed to run past the natural splendour of the thousand-year-old formations.
